Preventing and Reversing Type 2 Diabetes

The results of increasing sugar consumption in our society is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Did you know in Australia someone is diagnosed with Diabetes every 5 minutes!! That is staggering. The cost to the economy of diabetes is estimated at $14.6 billion! Diabetes is currently the leading cause of blindness, kidney failure, amputations, heart attacks, strokes and cancer. You might think you're not at risk because no-one in the family has it. It is not only a genetic cause. And genes only play a small role. Although having a genetic predisposition may mean you're more likely to get it, it can still be avoided by eating well and avoiding sugar and processed foods.
